Prior to joining O’Keefe & Associates, Tom worked as a Senior Associate in the audit practice at KPMG LLP in Detroit, MI. At KPMG, Mr. Braun focused in the manufacturing and financial services industry performing audits and reviews of public companies, which included due diligence work on a client’s business unit divestiture. In these roles, he was responsible for planning, managing and performing various stages of engagements.

Mr. Braun earned a Master of Science degree in Accountancy from Walsh College and a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Corporate Finance from Central Michigan University. He is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan and is a member of the Turnaround Management Association, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants.
